Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hello there :) My name is Melissa. I'm a divorced single mom of 3 great but crazy kiddos with one more on the way. My oldest is 10 yrs old and already acts like such a little "man". I'm attempting to train him now so any future girlfriends will not want to beat him over the head 10x's over with a cast iron frying pan. Thank his father for this early training. My second oldest is 8 and has special needs. I love how my little guy just goes with the flow of everything and is always loaded with smiles and hugs. I also have an angel girl in Heaven who lived a wonderful but short 9 days. She passed away due to probable SIDS. I could elaborate on my take on SIDS but I'll save that for later. My youngest daughter is 4. Let me tell you this child of mine has an attitude that could knock out Mike Tyson. I'm not kidding either. All the craziness aside, I'm not just surviving the insanity of everyday life with my kids, I'm having as much fun as I can along the way.

What are your beliefs about Motherhood?

Motherhood is the biggest and greatest job on this earth. Sure, the pay sucks and the sick days are non-existent but the benefits in the long run far out weigh anything else. I learn something new from my kids every single day. It's amazing how kids at even young ages can really make you stop and think.

What are your beliefs about Life?

I believe that in this life my most important job is to be the best mom I can be and to set a good example for not only my kids but others around me. Life is to short to worry about the little things. Pick and choose your battles.
