Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I'm a mom to two teenage boys living in the south. I still listen to my music way too loud. I love things such as roller derby, web design, classic auto restoration, travel, and watching my favorite bands live. I read voraciously, and dabble in a bit of writing from time to time. Between my outside-the-home job, and my kids and sports, I am not home often!

What are your beliefs about Motherhood?

I *used* to believe that if you raised them right, they would do or act right. I have been humbled, and know now that that just isn't so. So, I just guide as I see fit, discipline when and how I see fit, and try to make sure my sons know they can come to me for anything. I won't get them out of trouble, but we can talk and deal with things together.

What are your beliefs about Life?

Your life is largely what you make of it. There is a lot to be said for encouragement and positive thinking, so I try to do a lot of that. I know how blessed I am, and try to remember to be thankful for how good I truly have it!

How long have you been blogging?

Over a year in my current place. Previously, I've had blogs and journals for the past seven years.
